Location and boundaries
- The Zamboanga Peninsula is in Southwestern Philippines. It
encompasses a total land area of 18,225.8 square kilometers.
- The region is topographically rugged, with most of the provinces
of Zamboanga del Sur and Zamboanga del Norte mountanenous. Other areas
have relatively flat lands with undulating hills.
- Rich in natural resources, the region is basically agricultural.
